Katie Kendall is the Chief Process & Innovation Officer for the Massachusetts Office of the Comptroller. As manager of the Innovation & Support Team she focuses on identifying ways to improve business processes, while driving continuous improvement. She works with key stakeholders to develop strategic goals and objectives for process transformation and has successfully implemented a number of important projects with positive impact Commonwealth-wide.

Prior to joining the Comptroller’s office in 2016, Katie was the Budget Director for the Massachusetts House Ways & Means Committee. She coordinated the Commonwealth’s $40 billion annual budget, while working in tandem with senior staff and high-ranking legislators and officials on budget-related negations and complex fiscal policy issues.
Katie holds a M.B.A. in Nonprofits from Suffolk University and a B.S. in Finance with a minor in Accounting from Providence College.
