Scot has more than 20 years of leadership experience planning, designing, and implementing large Information Technology systems for government agencies, commercial companies and non-governmental organizations. Scot has worked with a wide variety of natural resource organizations including the US Forest Service, The Nature Conservancy, and the global commercial forest industry. He serves as a Board Member at the Capitol Land Trust and the World Forest ID. Currently, Scot is the Senior Technology Officer at the Forest Stewardship Council where his role is to help drive the adoption of technology within the forest certification process and develop deeper partnerships within the technology industry.
